A. We have toll-free access from anywhere in the Continental United States.
Q. Do the calls go over the Internet?
A. No, your calls are placed over a privately owned fiber optic
network which parallels the public switched telephone network.
Q. What's the catch?
A. There is no catch! Just a $35 (one time setup fee) and just
choose a plan
Q. How long has Nebutel been in business?
A. NebuTel has been in business for over 10 years in Central
Florida.
Q. So if I go over minute limit NebuTel will
only charge me 5 cents per minute?
A. Yes
Q. What about hidden charges?
A. There are no hidden charges
Q. What if I sign up for the NebuTel nights and
weekend plan but need to make a long distance call during the day?
A. Our gateway will only be available during the specified times.
If you call outside those times, we would recommend having an alternate
service such as calling cards, cell phone, or alternate long distance
carrier
Q. Does this replace my local telephone service?
A. No, you still need local phone service
Q. What if I have multiple phone numbers at my
house?
A. The service is charged per telephone number
Q. Do I have to cancel my existing long distance
service?
A. No, although it is advisable to get a plan that does not have
a minimum charge. Individual scenarios vary (e.g. international calls,
calling cards, collect calls, etc.) Since all your doing is placing a
local call to us, it doesn’t effect your existing services.
Q. How does it work?
A. All you have to do is dial our toll-free access + area
code + number. Most customers program a speed dial button so they enter
the same number of digits as traditional long distance
Q. Do I have to dial a (1)?
A. No, once you are prompted by the system, enter the area code
+ number
Q. Can I call anywhere?
A. You can call anywhere in the U.S. (including Alaska &
Hawaii) and Canada
Q. What about calls I make within my state?
A. The service includes in-state and state-to-state long distance
calls
Q. What about my business phone?
A. We have to look at each business on an individual basis.

Q. How do we pay?
A. Payment is automatically withdrawn from a debit or credit
card each month
Q. What about checks?
A. This is a 100% automated service: A debit card assigned to
you from your bank with a Visa or Master Card logo deducts automatically
from your checking account
Q. Can I make calls to surcharged numbers?
A. No, surcharged numbers like "900", "976",
party lines, or long distance information are not allowed
Q. What if I want to cancel my service?
A. Simply call us up before the 1st of each month to cancel and
we won’t charge your card.
